Hey, here's another poem. Thanks to my English teacher, Mrs.Olson, for saying 'The setting sun', which triggered the idea for this poem. Standard diclamers apply. You, know, FK characters don't belong to me, wish they did, blah blah blah, so on and so forth... : ) Enjoy!!! "The Setting Sun and What it Brings" by:Marie Dec. 5, 1996 The setting sun, a golden sphere, now pink with the dusk clouds. The stars overwhelm the sky and the silvery moon takes over the place where the sun was. As they awaken from their restful slumber, a chilling breeze encircles the bed they lie in, whipering across their faces like soft kisses. He gets up and throws on jeans and a long sleeved shirt, walking out of the bedroom and into the living room. As he lights the candles, a soft flickering glow lightens the room's gloomy darkness. Covered from head to toe in black clothes, he strums the strings of his midnight black electric guitar. Soft, sweet melodies escape from the instrument and float around in the air, lingering. She comes out of the bedroom, her blond hair standing out from the black she wears. She beckons for him to come outside and into the night with her. Her arms cling to him in a hug, like linchen to a stone. Her sweet, soft, and gentle kisses sweep across his cheek and to his neck. Giving in to her request, he arises from the chair he was resting in. They leave to explore the night with eachother. The rising sun, blocked out by the thick, heavy, and strong velvet curtains, overwhelms the sky. Blueness replaces the black sky and the sun takes it's position as well. They lie in their soft bed, in their dark bedroom. She feels safe in his protecting arms. They wait paitently for sleep to kick in. They let the deep slumber seep into them until they are sound asleep. The last thing on their minds before the sleep takes it course, is eachother. ******** Yeah, another Tracy and Vachon scribbling.
