My love, again last night
You turned my heart to fire
Your smile, your touch, your loving words
Left me trembling with desire

And then, once again my love
You tore our lips apart
But what you ripped away from me
Were pieces of my heart

Away you flew, into the night
Without a word it seems
You left me all alone to bear
The hurt of shattered dreams

I beg you once again dispel
The doubt that plagues my heart
Will you ever love me enough
To finish what you start
