By Michelle David ********* Natalie sighed. It had been a long day, a real dissect-o-rama, and she was anxious to get home. But her tired face lit up as soon as Nick entered the lab. "Hey there," she greeted him. "Ah... hi, Nat," he said. Natalie was instantly concerned. "What's up, Nick?" she asked, straightening. "Uh... nothing. Why?" he asked evasively. "Come on, Nick. What is it?" she asked. "Well... ah..." "Yeah?" Natalie gently prodded. He appeared to be gathering his courage. "Well Nat... for the past few years of my life, you've been helping me with the cure, you've been helping me to cover around the precinct, and you've been, well, the most caring and supportive friend I've had in... in a long time." Natalie could somehow sense what was coming up. "Yeah?" she again asked. "Well... Nat... there's really just one thing I have to say..." he looked up at her hopefully. "What?" she asked eagerly. "Nat... well, Natalie Lambert, I just need to say... I love you!" he eagerly hugged her. "Oh, Nick!" she exclaimed happily, embracing him back. Suddenly, a nagging thought started to tug at the back of her mind. She hesitantly pulled away. "What is it, Nat?" Nick asked, puzzled. "Sorry, Nick, but... You're not getting my AB+," she quietly said, looking down. When she turned her eyes up again, her brow furrowed. "Ah, Nick?" she asked, puzzled at his sudden disappearance.
