Subject: His Voice (poetry) 1/1 Date: Mon, 15 Nov 1999 18:54:25 -0800 From: "Laura K. Griffin" To: FKFIC-L@LISTS.PSU.EDU I was put up to this by NewCousin Christy after she read my earlier poem "His Eyes" today. Doesn't take much to encourage my poetic side...though this is the first time in what seems like ages that poetry has found its way to my fingertips again! Disclaimer: I don't own Lacroix, his voice, or Forever Knight. But what the heck?! They sure are fun to borrow for a bit of fun here and there! His softly seductive, Scintillating voice Echoes in the mind. Scourge of painful truths Whispering on the wind With amorous ploys. Reverberating remonstrations Play musically; An instrument of poetry Formed by lips that smile In arrogant erudition Of dark mysteries. His voice... Rhythmically beating down Defenses with his Proselytizing depravity. Tantalizing, rakish tones Invoke wanton thoughts Of fire and moon, Of blood and life, Of death and doom. Breathing passion in a simple word; Master of the silver-tongued sword. --- Cousin Laura - The Dark CERK Perk Addict http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Portal/6866/Laura.htm "Even though you're refracted, you're still you." - 'Picasso at the Lapin Agile'
